Individual Events

• One Great Event
  Use the following web-site for possible events, www.greatevents.mtu.edu

• One Cultural Event
  Attend an event displaying culture unlike your own (lecture, program, …)

• Husky Sporting Events
  One male and one female event. Valid events include varsity level athletics.
  Broomball games are not excepted.

• Educational Program
  There are many educational programs offered through your department and through residence life. Programs include out of class lectures and resident life programs.

• Awareness Activity
  This years awareness activity is called BaFa BaFa and will take place on Sunday October 9th at 12:00am.
  The event is offered once and is mandatory.

• Team Challenge
  The team challenge takes place the weekend after orientation (Sept. 7 th, 10:00am). It is a fun time to meet your neighbors and learn about tech.
  Event is mandatory.

• Community Service
  Participate in one of FYE’s scheduled “Community Action Days” during the fall semester. See calendar for details.

• Meet with PC Meet with the Program Coordinator during Orientation Week.

• Meetings with Mentor Meet with your assigned mentor during weeks 1, 4-5 for academic plan, and 1-2 of 2nd semester. RA’s may help with academic plans.

• Enroll in UN 1010
  Enrollment is to take place for first semester, second semester enrolment permitted under special circumstances.

• Join an Organization
  Get involved on campus and join any of the numerous campus organizations.

• FYE involvement
  Stay involved with FYE programs!
